The service
Spjallbox provides a digital service desk and live chat. The service is operated by Novamedia ehf. (reg. no. 540606-2260).
Access and user responsibility
- You are responsible for your login credentials and activity within your account.
- You warrant that you have the right to process the data you add to the system.
- The service may not be used for unlawful or harmful activity.
Subscription and payments
The subscription is billed monthly according to the chosen plan and number of seats, plus AI usage. Prices are shown excluding VAT. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time; changes take effect in the next billing period. Electronic ID (Kenni / Auðkenni) is an optional add-on and is not included in the subscription — cost for its use follows current kenni.is pricing and is the responsibility of the company that enables the feature.
Customer data
You retain ownership of your data. We process it only to provide the service in accordance with our privacy policy and a data processing agreement. If you choose to enable electronic ID (Kenni / Auðkenni), you are responsible for the lawful processing of the national ID numbers collected when verifying customers.
Availability and operation
We aim for high availability of the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Novamedia ehf.’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and disputes not resolved by agreement fall under the jurisdiction of the District Court of Reykjavík.
